How can I find out what classes I have reserved?

After completing the Member Log-in, there are two ways to see the classes in which you have reserved a spot. 1) Choose "My Profile" from the left sidebar menu. Click "Reservations" and you will see a list of your reserved classes. Or, 2) Choose "Calendar" from the left sidebar menu. Select "List" from the options in the upper right corner. The classes will be listed and "Reserved" will show next to the ones in which you have reserved a spot.

If you have made a reservation and find you can't attend, please cancel at least one hour prior to class start time in order to avoid being charged a $10 no-show fee.

Can I manage my class reservations on my mobile device?

Yes, reservations can be made and cancelled on your mobile device. We use a facility management program called Zenplanner. Learn more about the Zenplanner mobile app here.

Can I cancel my reservation? What is a "no-show" fee?

At Breathe, our goal is to provide you with small, personal classes. Therefore, class size is limited. If you have reserved a spot in class and find you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation either online, or using the ZenPlanner Mobile app at least two hours prior to class time. This will allow students on the waiting list to be notified of available space. Failure to cancel your reservation may result in a $10 no-show fee.

Why do I have to sign up for class in advance?

Because we want to be able to keep our classes a comfortable size for everyone and limit the number of participants. We don't want to inconvenience anyone by turning them away if the class is full, therefore we ask that you sign up online at least two hours in advance of class time. If the class is full you will be unable to register for it, so the sooner you are able to sign up for class, the better!

If you see that there is room in a class WITHIN THE TWO-HOUR WINDOW PRIOR TO CLASS TIME you can feel free to show up for the class and we'll add you to the class when you arrive if you have a current membership. (i.e., 9/12 means that 9 of 12 spots are taken and 3 spots are still open).

How do I sign up for an event or workshop?

Space in a special event or workshop must be reserved and paid for via the calendar page of our website. Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to manage workshop and event registrations via the member app.

How early should I arrive for class?

You must be at class on time or there is a chance you won't be admitted. Not only is it a potential disruption for others in the class, it's also not safe in many cases, because you may miss the warm-up period that's necessary to prepare you for the class.

If you arrive while the previous class is still in session, please wait outside until the previous class has ended.

What should I wear for class?

You should wear comfortable workout clothes that allow for lots of movement. Yoga is usually done barefoot or in yoga socks. Most of our classes do not require shoes, but some do. If shoes are required that will be mentioned in the class description. We ask that you PLEASE refrain from wearing your outside shoes on the studio floor so that we can keep it clean and comfortable for everyone. If the class you attend requires shoes, please change into the shoes that you'll wear for class once you get to the studio. (Your workout shoes will last much longer that way too!) We do have cubbies available for your shoes and other personal belongings.

What should I bring to class?

You should bring a hand towel in case you perspire, and a water bottle. Many students bring their own yoga mats, but we do have some available in the studio.

Is there parking at the studio?

There are 2 entrances to the professional complex (Rolling Mill Office Park) where Breathe is located. One is from the Whole Foods Parking lot (near the Capital One Bank) and the other is from Old Keene Mill Rd. We are located at the far end of the complex, in the back. Look for the Breathe Body and Mind sign. We are to the RIGHT of the sign, on the lower corner. There is plenty of unassigned and free parking literally steps away from the studio!

Can I bring my kids to class if they'll sit quietly in the studio?

Unfortunately, our studio is not set up with a childcare area and, therefore, it's not feasible for your children to sit in the back while you're taking class. It's not only a potential liability for the studio, but is also a distraction for the instructor and class members. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept payment by check and/or credit card for everything from a single-class drop in to a 12-month unlimited membership. If you must pay in cash, please contact us to make prior arrangements and we will try to work with you.

Do you only have year-long memberships?

What if I can only commit to 6 months at a time? In addition to our annual membership options, which are all set up for automatic monthly payment (via your stored credit card or checking account), we have several other flexible payment options, such as our 5, 10 and 20-class passes.

Does "Drop In" mean I can just show up to a class?

You must pre-register via our website for each and every class you attend. "Drop In" means you choose to register and pay for just one class at a time rather than choosing one of our membership options.

What if I purchase a class pass and find I cannot attend all the classes?

All class passes are valid for a specific time period and will expire regardless of whether or not the classes have been used. Choose your membership option carefully if you think there is a chance you will need to cancel. Only in extreme and unforeseen circumstances (such as a medical necessity) would we be able to extend your pass for an additional period of time.

What if I want to cancel my annual membership?

Any annual membership cancelled prior to its 12-month termination date will be charged a $75 cancellation fee. Written notice of cancellation must be provided at least 15 days prior to the monthly anniversary of the membership in order to prevent the next monthly charge from processing. This fee will be waived in the case of active-duty military who can provide proof of military orders (or with proof of any move out of the Northern Virginia area) or due to onset of medical conditions which would prohibit long-term participation in any of the activities/classes offered at the studio (in most cases a "hold" would be provided in those instances).

What if I want to upgrade my membership?

Please contact us if you want to exchange your current membership for one entitling you to attend more classes. These will be considered on a case by case basis.

Can I receive a refund if I go on vacation for an extended period of time?

No refunds are given for absences due to vacation. However, we are open to putting your membership on hold in some individual situations, primarily due to medical necessity.

How do I purchase a gift card to Breathe?

In our online store we sell gift cards in any amount from $20-275 which can be used for merchandise or to offset the cost of a membership. Once you make your purchase, the gift card code will be sent to you via email.

Do gift cards have an expiration date?

Yes - gift cards expire 6 months from date of purchase. If you purchase a gift card for someone, please gift it to them in a timely fashion so they can contact us within that period and let us know when they would like to begin their membership.

How Do I Redeem My Gift Card?

There are two ways for you to redeem a Breathe gift card. You may do it via the member app or by contacting us at info@breathebodymind.com or 703-829-0167. You are not able to redeem your gift card via the Breathe website.

Using the Member App to redeem a gift card for membership: Log on to the member app using your mobile device. In the upper left-hand corner of your screen you will see a white Z in a red circle. Click on this to see the drop down menu. Select Purchase. Select the desired membership level you wish to purchase and press the Next button in the upper right-hand corner. On the payment screen you will see the option to "Redeem Gift Card". This is where you enter the code from your gift card email.

Please feel free to contact us and have us activate the gift card for you. You will then have a credit balance on your account and be able to apply both membership charges and retail items to your gift card.
