Mindful Moving Kids - April 2024

April 23, 2024

Ages 5-12 are welcome to join Beth Hardy for this 4-week Mindful Moving Kids April session! We’ll be learning yoga poses, breathing techniques, practicing mindfulness activities, and playing games that use yoga to foster self-awareness and self-regulation as well as executive functioning skills.  You can purchase the 5-class pass (April 9, 16, 23 and 30) for $80 or your child is welcome to "drop in" to any of these classes ($23 per class) by choosing the Mindful Moving Kids Single Class option and pick the date(s) you want to attend.

Boundless Breath: Exploration of Pranayama Techniques

Pranayama is the practice of breath regulation. It involves controlling your breath in different styles and lengths. In this workshop, you will experience several pranayama techniques that span the spectrum of energizing the body to calming the body. Through these techniques you will develop a stronger connection to your breath, giving you a deeper attunement of your physical, mental, and emotional bodies and help anchor your awareness in the present moment.

Chair Yoga - Early Spring 2024

In this 60-minute gentle chair yoga class, Charlotte will guide you through a series of seated and some standing yoga poses, adaptable for all bodies.  Join her for this enlightening and beneficial class. Tea Meditation Sound Bath

May 3, 2024

Join us on Friday evening, May 3, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, and immerse yourself in a rejuvenating sound bath and tea ceremony! Using singing bowls and other vibrational instruments, this sound bath utilizes frequency, vibration, and stillness to create a meditative and relaxing environment-promoting a sense of calm and peace. In this session, we will gently explore a brief intention-setting meditation, followed by a soothing sound bath and a mini tea ceremony to integrate the experience. Please bring along your favorite tea mug or cup.

Manual Trigger Point Release Workshop

May 4, 2024

Join Julie, a certified Myofascial Manual Trigger Point Therapist (and yoga teacher) for a Manual Trigger Point Release workshop on Saturday, May 4th at 1:00 pm.  This workshop will  focus mostly on back pain trigger points.  Julie will demonstrate how trigger points can develop and how they can be manually released. She'll also touch upon how trigger point therapy is different from massage therapy and how these two practices can be used together to help muscles and other soft tissue become less painful, while increasing range of motion.

Flow & Grow

Join us for our Flow & Grow workshop! plant new seeds of growth & flow through a joyful movement flow followed by a guided meditation. There will be time for mindfulness activities after the flow where we can pull affirmation cards and journal together as a community. After we set our intentions and reflect - there will be terracotta pot planters to paint and decorate as well as seeds to plant and take home to represent your journey of growth and abundance.

Family Yoga

Adults and their littles ages 4-9 are invited to join Beth on Sunday May 19th at 3pm for a Family Yoga class.  We will practice breathwork, poses, and some silliness to have fun while strengthening our bodies and bonds. The child in all of us will appreciate getting to move, breathe, and regulate together!
