Studio Classes & Covid Safety Measures

Yes. We will have hand sanitizer placed right next to the water cooler.

Unless it's a specialty class tailored to kids or teens, the youngest age is 13, if accompanied by a parent. Ages 16+ are welcome to attend class on their own providing they are members and cognizant of the focused behavior needed in class. Minors must have a waiver on file signed by a parent or guardian.

You must bring your own mat for yoga classes and we will not be offering any "soft" yoga props until further notice . . .this means blankets, blocks, bolsters, sandbags, straps or eye bags.  We will be allowing use of other studio props (i.e., hand-held weights, stability balls, Bender balls, resistance bands, Pilates rings and the like) and will be asking you to clean them with supplied disinfectant after use.
You are currently required to wear a mask upon entering the studio and anytime you are OFF your mat.  For your safety, we encourage wearing a mask throughout the class, especially in classes that are at least half full, but it's ultimately your choice.

Breathe has reopened and is offering classes every day while still allowing enough time between classes to clean and disinfect the studio. We've marked spaces out to allow 6 ft distance between class participants (allowing up to 12 participants per class) and will continue with this spacing for a while longer to keep people feeling safe and comfortable.  We do require that you wear a mask upon entering and walking about the studio (not required, but encouraged while on your mat).  We also ask that you do not attend in-studio classes if you feel unwell or have been exposed to anyone who has been sick or has tested positive for COVID.

In addition to having class participants clean all equipment at the end of class, we are allowing extra time between classes so we can ensure the studio space and all props have been properly sanitized. We'll be wiping down the restrooms, floors, doorknobs, light fixtures and surfaces. Each evening we will be running a UV light sanitizer as an added disinfecting measure.

We also run an air purifier with HEPA filers in the studio 24/7, which is shown to be effective at removing 99.97% of ultra fine particles (allergens, mold, bacteria, viruses and fungal spores) .

Yes.  Although Virginia has removed all restrictions surrounding the pandemic, we have marked spaces out to allow a minimum of 6 ft between class participants in each class.
Unfortunately, our studio is not set up with a childcare area and, therefore, it's not feasible for your children to sit in the back while you're taking class. It's not only a potential liability for the studio, but is also a distraction for the instructor and class members. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Yes there will be hand sanitizer at various places for use within the studio.

Yes. There are 2 entrances to the professional complex (Rolling Mill Office Park) where Breathe is located. One is from the Whole Foods Parking lot (near the Capital One Bank) and the other is from Old Keene Mill Rd. We are located at the far end of the complex, in the back. Look for the Breathe Body and Mind sign. We are to the RIGHT of the sign, on the lower corner. There is plenty of unassigned and free parking literally steps away from the studio!

Until we feel it's safe, instructors will not be walking around the studio. He/she will stay on his/her mat at a safe 6+ ft apart from class participants. If the instructor leaves his/her mat, a mask will be required.
No.  We will no longer be requiring temperature checks upon entering the studio, but are asking that you do not come into the studio if you are feeling unwell and/or have a temperature over 100.4, have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed to anyone who has been tested positive for COVID 19 within a 14-day period.
Yes, and the restroom will be thoroughly wiped down with disinfectant after each class.
