“Bhakti” is a sanskrit word that means devotion. It is the art of finding the spiritual energy that exists within all of us through movement and flows, yogic philosophy, meditation, and mantras. This devotion is practiced in class through various techniques such as Bhagavad Gita readings, chanting mantras, practicing pranayama (breathing exercises), and sound bowl meditation.
Join Breathe member and dance teacher Amy Abbott for this upbeat dance class where you’ll learn the basic steps for salsa, merengue, bachata and other Latin dances. This class is appropriate for all levels of experience and no partner is required, as it is not a "partner" type of class.
This classic yoga class links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body, aligning a deliberate sequence of poses to achieve a continuous flow. Of the Vinyasa classes we offer at Breathe the level 2/3 Vinyasa classes and the Slow Flow classes are considered more challenging, while the All-Levels Vinyasa classes are more accessible for most.
