Slow Flow Vinyasa Yoga is a slower pace class, mindfully moving and breathing while holding poses longer. You will explore your edge, yet still feel a relaxed and renewed experience. This class is geared towards practitioners looking to build muscle strength while gaining perspective and calm.

Marion Blasch

Marion believes in each person’s potential and strives to guide them to find their inner strength. She was a lead cyclist on the University of California Berkeley Women’s cycling team. In her home town of San Diego, she taught spin aerobics in exclusive studios, and later, to military at the Naval Base, Millington, TN. Marion holds an MBA from the University of Memphis and held a career in investment marketing. She is an avid swimmer and prior master’s coach. Marion is dedicated to her family and enjoys instructing barre and yoga. Marion is certified by Metropolitan School of the Arts and Yogafit (RTT200).  She strives to maintain a high level of fitness and nutritional health while inspiring others to do so as well!

Kim Keser

Kim began taking yoga several years ago to reduce anxiety and depression. She completed her 200-hr teacher training in July 2020. Through her yoga practice, Kim has learned to quiet the mind (or at least turn down the volume) from negative self talk. She empathizes with others who feel the pain and sadness from depression and the difficulty of releasing their anxieties and allowing themselves to be in the moment. Kim wants to help others realize their strengths, celebrate the small victories, see their self worth, and become empowered. Kim has worked in a veterinary hospital for over 15 years. She teaches Vinyasa, Hatha and Slow Flow.

Codie Williams

Codie served in the United States Marine Corps for 13 years. While in the military she explored many different physical practices such as bodybuilding, olympic weight lifting, long-distance running, indoor and outdoor cycling, and more. It wasn't until she stepped onto a yoga mat for the first time around 2008 that she recognized this was a practice that could be sustained for a lifetime. Codie says, "I came to yoga for the physical practice but I stayed with yoga for the mental clarity, agility, and stillness that are inevitable side effects of the practice."

After departing the military, Codie became deeply curious about the world around her and the world within her. This led her to begin to travel the world, solo, to discover different healing modalities that spoke to her soul. Throughout her travels, Codie became a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher, and trained in the arts of Sound Healing ,Breathwork, Reiki, and more. Her path in life is now dedicated to holding sacred space for others to meet themselves, discover their true nature through self-exploration, and heal. Codie says "My prayer is that I can spread love, authenticity, and vulnerability to everyone I meet so that all beings may live full and joyful lives."

You can be sure that Codie's classes will never be too serious. Her classes have
been described as "receiving a warm hug from a friend". Codie's open heart and
encouraging smiles create a space where discipline, play, exploration, and
acceptance can meet on the mat.

Lisa DeFrank

Lisa came to yoga in 2018 and fell in love with the centering and calming effect it provided her body, mind, and spirt. In 2020 she decided to turn her passion for yoga into a means of being of service to others and enrolled in a 200-hour YTT program through Shades of Yoga in Bali, Indonesia. She has also completed an Accessible Yoga training program through the Accessible Yoga School, that has taught her how to make yoga accessible to all, believing deeply that if it’s not accessible, it’s not yoga. Lisa hopes her students leave her classes feeling connected, to their community and to themselves, and they carry that connection into the world, inspiring others along the way.

Darina Brown

Darina's yoga journey began in 2005 after years as a fitness instructor, which brought her from teaching on a cruise ship, to instructing celebrities in the Maldive Islands, to teaching private clients throughout Europe.  In addition to being certified in BASI Pilates, Darina completed extensive yoga teacher training with Bryan Kest, the founder of Power Yoga, and Paul Grilley, the founder of Yin Yoga. Her pursuit of meditation techniques brought her to Eckhart Tolle and Tara Brach, and the last few years Darina has studied with Yamuna and has become a Yamuna Body Practitioner, which she is also quite passionate about.

Darina says: "For me, the yoga mat is a safe space, a sanctuary to accept where I am each day. It's a place to be present without judgement, where I can move and breathe mindfully. With that spirit, I've developed classes that cultivate physical and mental strength, where we can breathe deeply and be honest and open to all the possibilities that life presents

The real yoga then begins the moment we step off the mat and face the inevitable challenges of life. And this is where yoga becomes a most powerful tool, helping us to move gracefully and with ease through anything that life brings our way."

Karin Landrum

A fitness professional for over 25 years, Karin has a background in physical therapy and received her 200 RYT in 2010. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer, having officially earned that certification in 2024 with ASFA (American Sports & Fitness Association). Injury/overuse led Karin to yoga which she feels is a personal journey teaching the individual about his/herself. Her focus in class is using proper form and alignment and honoring the place where we are today. Karin is a military spouse and has lived all over the world. She believes in the power of positive thinking and has used yoga to help trauma survivors and individuals struggling with PTSD. She has completed her 100-hour Warrior certification, focusing on using yoga to overcome traumatic events and anxiety. Karin loves to cook and prefers doing something outdoors to staying home and cleaning the house!

Elena Velasco

Elena Velasco found yoga through her career as a theatre and movement artist. For over 25 years she has worked in the performing arts industry as a director, choreographer, performer and professor in the DMV and Greater Boston regions. Through her work she found that the fullest creative expression and connection was the result of the synthesis of the mind-body-consciousness. Yoga has helped her craft choreography that is more sustainable and gives performers greater agency over their bodies. Yoga informs her work in all disciplines, whether leading a vinyasa class at Bowie State University where she is an associate professor of theatre and movement, or establishing a healthy, mindful rehearsal process for movement-based performance. She completed her 200-hour teacher certification at Rising Sol Yoga School in 2023. She believes yoga and the arts must be accessible, and is passionate about holding space for a range of students from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. Along with her active professional life, she enjoys biking, hiking, and meditating, and is the proud mother of seven children, all who have various paths and passions.

Judy Schnoebelen

After many years managing spinal pain and injury, Judy discovered that the regular practice of yoga finally allowed her to find strength and opening in her body to support her spinal health. She received her 200 hour certification from the Fluid School in 2016 and has been teaching yoga ever since. She also completed an additional 300 hours in April of 2023 and is now a 500 RYT Yoga Teacher.  Judy is also a certified Speech-Language Pathologist so teaching has been a part of her life for many years. She believes there is nothing like a regular yoga practice to retrain the brain towards mindful movement, sustained focus, and the feeling of being fully present in the moment. She also believes yoga is for every body and strives to support her students in gaining full access to movement on the mat with an emphasis on strength and alignment. Judy’s practice encourages you to connect breath to movement, nurturing body and mind as you flow and cultivating strength, balance and confidence each time you make your way to your mat.
