Breathe & Roll YBR

Yamuna Body Rolling is a form of bodywork that involves using a soft, pliable ball that mimics the qualities of your body's muscle tissues. The ball is designed to allow your body weight to penetrate into a round form that is supportive, safe, and has resistance so that your body receives feedback and can respond with gentle adjustments and healing. The practice uses your own body as a laboratory, exploring every part with self-correcting routines that lead to your body structure functioning at its true potential. It is extremely helpful when working with physical restrictions, past injuries, and surgeries.

We use the balls for lengthening, strengthening, and stimulation by combining breathing with weight bearing exercises, while relaxing into what we are feeling. Some of the many benefits of this practice include gentle bone stimulation (reducing incidences of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis), freeing the fascia, elongating and toning the muscles, and building breathing capacity.
