This class will work your entire body, including a warm up, 100’s and exercises for your back, upper body, seat, core and outer/inner thigh and a cool down. Each class will follow the same basic format (but with different exercises each time) so as to build proficiency and consistency. All fitness levels welcome to this fun and upbeat class!

Jennifer Rodrigues

She is a 500-HR registered yoga teacher who is trauma informed trained.  She completed her goal of becoming a certified yoga therapist in 2021. She also holds certifications in Yoga Nidra, yoga for ADHD, and Embodied Social Justice. As a military spouse she has lived all over the country. In her other roles she’s a mom, published poet & essayist, nominated Best of the Net photographer, hiker & kayaker, singer & furniture refinisher. She loves all things gnomes & mushrooms.

Elisa Cifuentes

Elisa has been teaching Yoga since 2005. She originates from Venezuela where she was a self-described adrenaline-seeking pro downhill mountain biker whose favorite band was Metallica. Aside from charging down mountains, Elisa was attending school full time to be a professional chef, until one day everything changed. She was in a motorcycle accident on the way to school that badly injured her leg. Eight surgeries later and unsure if she would ever be able to walk again, Elisa was introduced to yoga as part of her recovery. She had already taught aerobics and Pilates since she was 17 years old and after a successful recovery, she took a 200 hour teacher certification and began teaching yoga. Prior to coming to the United States, Elisa had her own studio and taught 7-8 classes per day. Outside of yoga, Elisa is a professional chef and although not quite as adrenaline seeking as downhill mountain biking, she enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Filipino Martial Arts. Elisa teaches Vinyasa Yoga and Breathe and fills in anywhere else we need her including her popular Mix-Up Monday "Ball Yoga" class.

Amanda Foley

Amanda is a certified group fitness (AFAA), Barre (Barre Above), and PopPilates instructor.  She was a Division I athlete in track and field and has been involved in fitness and athletics her entire life.  After suffering a back injury, Amanda was forced to look at fitness differently and find modalities that challenged her body in different gentler ways and her love of strength training, Barre and Pilates was born.  Amanda fully believes that fitness is for everyBODY, and by providing encouragement and modifications, every participant can be successful.  Each class is a chance to grow and learn from each other and for a very short period of time put ourselves first.  Amanda loves to inject classes with a little bit of humor because it is harder to complain when you are laughing.  Amanda lives in the Springfield area with her three daughters, husband and 2 crazy dogs.
