When the poses and the effort all fall away, what remains is deep rest and relaxation. Allow Lana to guide you in a yoga nidra practice to release stress and bring balance to your entire being. The use of essential oils will be offered to deepen your experience as we connect to a spirit of gratitude.

 

Yoga nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a guided practice of relaxation to experience a state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleeping. Studies have shown that the yoga nidra practice helps to reduce stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure, and improve sleeping disorders, among other benefits.



Lana Lau

Lana began practicing yoga in 2010 when she suffered from debilitating back pain. She found relief in yoga when painkillers, muscle relaxants and chiropractic treatments were ineffective. Lana wants to share the same sense of joy, inner peace and physical well-being she enjoys from her yoga practice with her students.
