Meridian Yin Workshop Series

In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory, the meridians are a circulatory system of energy (qi). In this 5-session workshop series you'll learn how the Five Elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water) relate to your physical and mental well-being. You’ll practice a series of long-held poses, supported by props, that stimulate qi flow through specific meridians to harmonize and balance the body. Classical Belly Dance - March 2024

She's BA-ACK! Join Kelly P, aka Franz Marie (her belly dancer name) for "Classical Belly Dance", which originated in Egypt and features movements of the hips and torso. Belly dance is a low-impact, weight-bearing exercise and is great for all ages and levels of fitness. Many belly dance movements involve isolations, which improves flexibility of the torso, and strengthens the entire spinal column in a gentle way. Come join us for an hour of expressive dance to some lively Middle Eastern music. Please wear comfortable fitness clothing. You are welcome to dance barefoot or with socks. No hip scarves necessary.
